I don’t do New Year resolutions. I just don’t. By mid January my New Year resolutions are long forgotten and I get busy with the thing called life.
This year I did not make a New Year resolution, just like in year’s past, but I secretly told myself that I had to make a change. My change didn’t have to start on January 1st, but on a day that felt good and ready. On January 22, it felt like a good day to start my quasi New Year resolution.
Start my monumental task of getting healthy again.
This is why I have been absent from the blog world because since January 22nd I have been working out every night (with 2 day rests in between) to ChaLean Extreme, Zumba, Hip Hop Abs and even Belly dancing. I am on day 45 with ChaLean Extreme, but I got terribly sick for a week so I am back to day 39 to make up for my sick time.
I started slowly, promising myself along with a close group of family and friends to be active for at least 30 minutes for 30 days – and for the first time in my life I finished an exercise challenge. Now we are on to another 30 day challenge and I am on month two of ChaLean Extreme.
So far I have lost 8 pounds and an inch off my waist. I wish I could be those people that say “I lost 15 lbs in a week!” but alas I am not one of them.
I am also getting ready for wedding season! I will be posting some sessions I have done along with some of my last weddings.
Are you a bride that is working out too? What are your wedding goals? You are not alone ladies and gents. Keep on working out and hopefully we can all get to our ideal healthy weight.
Time to get extreme….
Oh and Baseball season started I will be taking lots of photos of my boys teams.

Love and happiness my friends,
Nellie G.
